For some reason, i thought it was more to itsself and not in a row of cabins. But that doesn’t matter. It was great and a cute little place. We didn’t spend a lot of time there, as we were out in our boat on the lake fishing. It had everything we needed, plus some! Great Place!!

Better than Camping
Our friends invited us to join them boating on Lake Minnewaska. They were camping in an R.V., but we don’t have an R.V. or go camping. This cabin worked well for us, as a couple. I am not sure that you would want more than 4 people in this small cabin, though.We were grateful for plumbing, electricty, a soft bed and a working kitchen with stove, microwave, refrigerator and coffee pot. We loved sitting in the back yard at the firepit and watching the sun set.over the small air strip. The deck at the front was a great place to sip a cup of coffee in the morning as we had a view of the lake across the road. Ours was part of severa;l cabins in a row, but not all of the cabins were occupied while we were there. Some of the other cabins looked like more money had been spent on remodeling (at least what we could see from the outside)., but this place is great if you want something a little nicer than an R.V. or a camp site.
Nice little cabin with all the essentials. Owners very helpful and responsive. Great that they allow pets. Only negative would be that some of the furniture should be replaced.
Cute and Quaint
Small but Everything You Need
We were pleased to find coffee, coffee filters, sugar and a working coffee pot. The first night we were able to enjoy a nice fire out back in the fire pit. There were plenty of chairs for a large group. We made dinner Saturday night using the grill, microwave and oven. All of the appliances worked. The bed we slept in was very comfortable. We will be back next month.
Reunion of neighborhood friends
The property was easy to find. We had a wonderful time reminiscing and catching up.
Beautiful lake!
Nice place across from a beautiful lake. Quiet. Well appointed. Across from a good restaurant and near park for hiking. Penny’s diner was a fave with the teens!! We plan to be back!

Cozy Cabin
This little cabin was just right for our short getaway. It was well equipped, clean, and convenient to Starbucks, Glenwood, and Alexandria. We really enjoyed nearby Glacial Lakes State Park.

Loved the location. Very cozy cabin and so clean and comfortable. Been visiting Starbuck for over 28 years staying at our friends cabin. It was so fun having our own. Perfect 38th wedding anniversary week. Thank you we will be back.
Fun Starbuck Get-Away
We had a great time!! Perfect size cabin for us. The décor was so cute and made us feel like we were at the beach. Our only small negative would be the traffic on Hwy 29 which runs by the cabin. I was surprised that it was as busy as it was for a small town. However, it did not affect our sleeping. Felt right at home with the amenities, too. Thanks!!!
Felt like Home!
The home was small as advertised, but we had 5 people in it and a Husky puppy with plenty of room to still move around. The owner had EVERYTHING we could possibly need, including bathroom supplies and a fully equipped kitchen. She got back to us within minutes with answers to our questions. I highly recommend this home for your next get away!
Great little getaway! Very nice clean cabin!
This was our first experience using a vacation rental. We were so happy with the whole process and loved this cabin for a little getaway! The location is so nice for access to the beach on Lake Minnewaska. Also a wonderful place to eat right across the street called Waters Edge. Very nice clean cabin and nice deck to enjoy the outdoors. The owners were awesome with communicating with any questions we had before our stay. We will definitely be renting again next time we vacation to Starbuck and the beautiful Lake Minnewaska!

Owners were very easy to work with and responded promptly. Their place is so cute. Plenty of lawn chairs provided for sitting on the deck enjoying a view of the lake.

Nice little cabin
Rented out this spot mainly for fishing. Love the location of the cabin as the boat launch was 2 mins away. The cabin was very clean and had lots of towels. It rained all weekend so we had to use multiple towels. It was also a hot weekend so the AC in the living room and bedroom was great. The only “issue” we had was the carbon monoxide alarm went off. The first night we used the oven and then later at night the alarm went off. We ended up opening all of the windows to air out the house and turned off the gas line on the stove.
Wonderful two night stay at your cabin!
We loved your very clean, cozy cabin!! It was so nice to walk across the road to the beach for swimming. We never did receive directions as to what was expected of us so hope we did OK with our cleanup! The back shed door was off when we got there. Would have been nice to have had a phone number to call in case we had issues but everything went well fortunately!
Nice place!
Nice little place. The only complaint was the AC is too small for the size of the cabin and could not keep up, so we could not use the bedroom and had to sleep on the futons in the living room were the AC was. Which after four nights of sleeping on the futons our backs said no more and we left a day early because of this.
