FIRST – this was booked Thru the MARRIOTT Houses & Villas. the company VACASA was the 3rd party that took are of Marriott’s Houses/Villas – DO NOT BOOK THIS – DO NOT STAY HERE! This was my 1st time booking for the Sunrise Beach Condo & will be the last time I use this service or book in this BUILDING of SUNRISE BEACH RESORT. I was told first there was 2 spots for Free parking, then I had to park across the street, then finally they decided I could park all my cars there but would charge me $20 per car. The room was beachy, it had 2 BR & a bunk room – enough beds for 9 women, but not enough bathrooms. The starter kit was OK, needed more trash bags. We were never told anything, any type of Maint. would be going on. but on Tuesday 5/17 they decide THERE WILL BE NO WATER from 9AM to 5PM, basically ALL DAY! no toilets! no showers! no laundry! no cooking! and when the water did come back on around 6pm! – it was a lovely Brown Color – now do you want to shower in that mess> No you don’t! Best of all about 7pm on the same day OUR WATER WENT BACK OFF!!! we had enough time for ONE SHOWER! the front desk could tell us nothing – “it’s not our fault – it’s the HOA of the building” we got no help, no answers, no one to screw at – just nothing. Too bad! I called the “after hours” guy – he said he would relocate us to another unit. he called back in 10 minutes & said he couldn’t relocate us but he would find a unit where we could at least take showers & and do some laundry. Just trust me, he said. I NEVER HEARD from him again! we sat all night, dirty, stinking – we did what we were suppose to do – we stayed away all day, found something to do in the Florida & 10000% humidity to only come home & find NO Water! We sat all night WAITING for the water to come on & never did! To only go to the elevator the Next Day to find out the Water would be OFF AGAIN on Wed 5/18 from 9 AM to 1pm – – ANOTHER DAY. No One had told us about any of this, if so we would have booked somewhere else. I have never been so glad to get away from a place like SUNRISE BEACH RESORT! I would never book anything that is dealt with by VASACA. and this claims to be a MARRIOTT Houses & Villas International. This is NOT A Marriott Brand! I booked this condo & paid in full. It was a contract between Marriott/Vasaca & me – they have Failed to respect my right to a room that can provide the daily needs such as Water and a Toilet. The Federal Trade Commission does have laws & regulations for this type of dispute – anyone in this situation needs to take full advantage of the laws that prevent this type of carelessness! SUNRISE BEACH RESORT does not care about you & if you stay. VASACA DOES NOT care about you & your stay or what you need. MARRIOTT INTERNATIONAL DOES NOT CARE ABOUT YOU, their brand or your thoughts.
