On this blog we already have a fairly intensive part on islands in Thailand. For over one decade I’ve been touring the land of smiles very extensively, and been to lots of of beaches in Thailand. I like the seaside, and I like even more to explore Thai islands riding a rental scooter or on board of an extended-tail boat, riding the waves and stopping to enjoy the wonderful snorkeling that the Thai seabed presents. Making a good collection of the most effective beaches in Thailand may be very difficult, for the reason that country has a coastline that stretches for over 3.000 kms, and a whole bunch and lots of of kilometers with beaches. Obviously, almost all of one of the best beaches in Thailand are on these islands, although I’ve also chosen a beach that is not on an island, but on the mainland coast. And of course making a superb collection of beaches requires having visited lots of them.

This passion has led me to, not only visit virtually all of the islands of Thailand, however to explore them extensively whereas trying to know as many beaches as doable. In fact I have left a number of great beaches out of this list, some of them intentionally. Laem Haad is one of those beaches that once visited you’ll always remember. Before I start, I wish to remark that it is rather tough to rank beaches, perhaps even pointless, so I have merely decided to make an inventory of which, in my view, are the 25 greatest beaches in Thailand.
