PHUKET: The Thavorn Palm Beach Resort at Karon Beach, Phuket, has appointed Suriya Songsomboon as General Manager of the resort.

Suriya Songsomboon has been appointed General Manager of the the Thavorn Palm Beach Resort at Karon, Phuket.

Mr Suriya joins the Thavorn Palm Beach Resort after a year of serving as the Corporate Director of Sales at The Scenical Group, Khao Yai, in northeastern Thailand.

Mr Suriya began his career in hospitality at the Shangri-La Hotel, Bangkok, 31 years ago. Since then, he has worked with some of the best known brands in the industry, including more than a decade with Dusit Hotels & Resorts.
