For our two day stay in Lanta, my husband and I decided to get something close to the beach. From pictures online, Clean Beach Resort looked like it fit the bill. When we arrived, the pictures were nothing like the actual property. Actually, I didn’t recognize this property from any of the hotels.com pictures. The staff/owners are friendly, however I would never return here unless some serious renovations are done. The bathroom is understandably open air, however this causes so many mosquitos and other bugs to congregate inside. We had a giant ant village invade our bathroom. We asked the front desk to take care of it and she said they would spray but upon our return to the room no one came all day. The sheets seemed clean…The bed is hard as a rock. In general, due to all the bugs, my husband and I felt the room was dirty. Be aware, the water in the bathroom is saltwater, so use bottled to brush your teeth! You will hear every sound from outside your bungalow (yes it’s individual cabins) all night long. From the drunk neighbors knocking to the chicken family that lives behind each cabin.
